San Diego State University and University of San Diego are very excited to be hosting the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic on March 14-15, 2016 at the beautiful San Diego Country Club. This event will be host to some very strong teams from around the country. The field will also feature the #1 Ranked amateur in the world John Rahm (ASU), #1 Ranked collegiate player Beau Hossler (Texas) and the 2014 US Amateur Champion Gunn Yang (SDSU).
To provide the best experience for the college golfers participating in the event and to add excitement to the tournament we are going to have live scoring this year. To accomplish this we are in need of volunteers during the two day event.
Live scorers will be positioned by the green every 3 holes and will record scores from players coming off the green. Those scores will be entered into a smart phone or tablet. You must have your own smart device.
All volunteers will receive a box lunch.
Monday March 14th– 36 Holes continuous play 8am shotgun
Morning shift 8:00am- 1:00pm — Afternoon Shift 12:45pm– 6:pm
Tuesday March 15th – 18 holes Tee times 8am-9:45am
Scoring 8am – 2:30pm
