Scott Mahlberg PGA

Scott Mahlberg, PGA Director of Instruction at Stadium Golf Center, has been teaching in the San Diego area since 1980. He has consistently been ranked among the top 50 golf instructors in California by “Golf Digest”. A PGA Teacher of the Year, Scott has worked with beginners, intermediate and low handicap players and accomplished juniors and professionals.

An emphasis is placed on building a good repeating swing, employing a simple but sophisticated approach to the short game and creating a skill set to take the game from the range to the course. I use the FlightScope launch monitor and the latest in video analysis to give you the very best feedback for your swing. A separate putting studio using computer analysis along with many other putting aids is also available. This whole game approach allows students to realize their potential and reach their goals.

Masters Program

“Over the past year, the golf games of the Allard/Taormina family have continued to improve thanks to the excellent instruction of Scott. In particular, McKenna-who is a 15 year old sophomore at Francis Parker and whose goal at the beginning of the season was to break 50 in a match- shot a personal best of 39 during one of her team’s fall golf matches and was the medalist three times. There is no doubt that this is a direct result of her regular lessons with Scott. Scott’s work with Jo Ann and me has vastly improved our games as well. Our family looks forward to continuing to work with Scott on our individual golfing goals!”

“Under Scott’s tutelage I have dropped from an 18 index to a Five!!!
His desire to see me improve has made all the difference.
My knowledge of the golf swing has increased tenfold”

“Scott is a great teacher of the game of golf. I was shooting 75-81 after a layoff. I am now down to a handicap between 0-1. I have qualified for many high Amateur tournaments in California. Scott will improve your skills and teach the key elements of the swing so you can perform at a high level.”
